Swansea Industrial Components, or SIC Ltd as we're now known, was founded in 1964 by the present owner and managing director Layton Roberts.

The company started life as a wiring harness manufacturer, originally providing cable assemblies to the white goods market, and soon moving into the vending, fruit machine and automotive markets.

We now serve over 466 customers in 36 different markets, providng cable assemblies, control box assemblies, electronic sub assemblies, harness asemblies, looms, panel wiring, and wire preparation to the heating and ventilation (HVAC), medical, automotive, vending, pumps and valves, and even aerospace markets.

And while the application of our products is wide and varied, our commitment to manufacturing excellence and our ISO 9001 (2000) accreditation remains constant.

SIC manufactures over 14,000 different product lines, and our products are utilised in anything from ambulances (specialist automotive looms), aeroplanes (seating harnesses) , medical probes (microscopic wire processing) , coffee machines (wiring harnesses) , vacuum pumps (sub assemblies) boilers (box build), and even beer coolers (cable assemblies).
